Cycling in Landeck and the surrounding area:

Landeck offers numerous cycling and mountain bike routes, as well as routes for families and leisure cyclists.

Routes for racing cyclists:

Tobadill – Grins – Stanz, Start: 1 minute from the hotel,
Height:  950 metres, route length: 26 kilometres, highest point: 1158 metres
From Landeck to Tobadill, to Wiesberg Castle and the Wiesberg bridge, and across the Roman bridge in Grins. A stop-off in Stanz is well worthwhile.

Downhill routes:

Landeck – Kappl (MTB 791),
Height:  950 metres, route length: 23 kilometres, highest point: 1458 metres
From Landeck town centre up the hill to Perfuchsberg and Tobadill towards Schweißgut. Then through Giggler Tobel to See and along the Trisanna to Kappl. More routes and bike parks can be found here

Family-friendly cycling:

Most routes start in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Height:  350 metres, route length: 42 kilometres, highest point: 832 metres
Start at TirolWest information office in Landeck. Through the town towards Innsbruck and to Zams.

Leisure cycling:

A leisurely tour around the valley basin – from Landeck Castle to Zammer Lochputz and back past the Burschlkirche church.
From the Landeck tourism office, the route leads to Öd via the Maisengasse. It is worth stopping off at Landeck Castle, where the history of the Tyrolean Highlands is presented. Then continue on to Zams, past Zammer Lochputz – Tyrol’s mystical gorge – and on to the Burschlbrücke bridge along rarely used roads. After the Burschlbrücke and a short steep ascent, the trail leads into the district of Perfuchs and back to the starting point via the historical Gerberbrücke bridge.
